L’Éspace Quotidien is a the result of a production experiment that took place in Griffintown, a historical and highly disputed quarter of Montréal. Griffintown is positioned between an industrial past and an uncertain future, between extensive redevelopment and natural degradation. The setting not only serves as a backdrop for the interactions between two actors, it also emerges on screen as a kind of spatial presence.
